FI: Gosick

Yep it is finally here, the anime I have been waiting for. And you know what, it did not disappoint me. Want to know why? Read on.

So Gosick is an anime set in 1924, in a country of fiction, Sauville a European country. Yes it is not set in Japan. Regardless, after watching the first episode I can say with confidence that this is going to be a great one.

And here is why I say that,

~ The characters are intriguing, Victorique is not your typical lolita, while she is cute at times, she has a dark side and she is very good at detective work. Kujo is hilarious at times, called the springtime reaper, not sure why though. Kujo also is very compatible with Victorique, not in that way though. Grevil or however his name is spelled is just weird, he won’t acknowledge Victorique’s existence and his hair is something out of Shiki.

~ The music is great, I already love the ending, the opening was not expected but it is still good. It really sets the pace of the show nicely.

~ It is downright hilarious at times. Victorique’s cuteness is just too funny. Really rolling on the floor because she is bored, how could you not laugh.

~ The scenes of yesteryear are impeccable, great to see an anime set in the past, great for a mystery anime. I just love the art from head to toe.

Recommendation Level- (A) Yeah the first A of the season.

About chaospheonix

Just a dire hard anime fan, not an Otaku as I find that word degrading. But anime isn't my only hobby, I also enjoy showing dogs in various competitions (conformation, obedience/rally, hunt tests, etc)
