FI: Beelzebub

Ah well it is late, midnight to be exact. Can’t believe I am blogging this late, but I just finished this anime and need to blog before I forget things. Well let’s blog, and hope it won’t be bad because my eyes are getting droopy.

Well I can safely say this will be on our TV screens in no time. It is a typical shounen anime, typical of shounen jump. So it should have no problems being on TV. Downside for me is, I really don’t like mainstream anime. But I do have to say this anime was ROTFLMAO quality. It will have you in stitches the whole time.

Beelzebub is a featured anime in Shounen Jump weekly. It is about a juvenile delinquent student who one day is chosen to raise the next demon lord on his quest to annihilate the entire human race. Sounds fun doesn’t it? And if that doesn’t sound fun, guess what? Beelzebub is a baby.

Here are some thoughts

~ Beelzebub’s electrical power is way over played in the first episode, while it makes for funny scenes, you have to drawn a line somewhere.

~ Animation is mainstream shounen, which I don’t mind, but it is just seen a lot.

~ Like I said this anime will have you in stitches, it is absolutely hilarious. From beginning to end. Weird at times though, and awesome at others.

~ Didn’t care for the ending but OP was pretty good. Voice acting pretty good.

~ Beelzebub’s father surprisingly as Oga and Furuichi put it “has a screw loose”.

~Oh and yeah, no censorship of the baby. Interesting approach. (Don’t read my words wrong, lol)

Recommendation Level: (A) Don’t get use to it, I won’t give that rating to many mainstream quality anime.

About chaospheonix

Just a dire hard anime fan, not an Otaku as I find that word degrading. But anime isn't my only hobby, I also enjoy showing dogs in various competitions (conformation, obedience/rally, hunt tests, etc)
